Karndean takes commercial design back to the floor in 2010
We believe that, as a key component of any interior scheme, flooring shouldn’t be considered merely a tick box but as a design element that can make a real impact in its own right.
“We know that within retail, leisure, bar and restaurant environments, point of difference from competitors is crucial and décor is one way that this can be achieved. Whilst this may sound obvious, we want to ensure that in 2010, flooring takes a prominent position on the specifiers list for more than just practicality reasons.” comments Paul Barratt, Commercial Sales Director at Karndean.
“When you consider that the floor accounts for one sixth of surface coverings in a standard room, you realise what a difference carefully considered flooring makes to the overall effect and with the flexibility and ultra-realistic finishes offered by our vinyl flooring, it is possible to accomplish a totally bespoke look.
“In addition to the aesthetic appeal of our design flooring, which faithfully replicates the look and feel of natural materials, we can also tick all the other boxes for specification. There are numerous other considerations such as ease and speed of installation – after all, time is money – maintenance and durability, with our collections delivering all accounts.
“With several new product launches of what promise to be industry-firsts due over the coming year, it certainly is an exciting time for us.”
