The flooring industry demands a high level of professional fitters to carry out large scale installations that often have both time and budgetary restrictions. Karndean prides itself on offering industry leading training courses to flooring contractors nationwide. At our purpose built training facility, in Evesham, we can help you, your employees and apprentices to learn and develop the skills needed to fit commercial vinyl flooring.
Commercial flooring installation training
Our three-day training courses combine both the hands-on practical experience and theory that is needed to ensure you have the skills needed to fit commercial vinyl flooring. The courses include design flooring techniques, sub-floor preparation and using the appropriate adhesives. Courses run all year round and cater for all levels of experience.Basic training
The basic course introduces all aspects of sub-floor preparation and adhesive selection, plus installing simple design layouts, borders and features.
The basic course costs £350.00 + VAT and includes:
• 3 days training including lunch for each day
• Boxed tool kit*
• Merchandise, including a Karndean holdall
• Certificate
Advanced training
Designed for fitters with around two years’ experience of Karndean commercial design flooring it builds on your knowledge of screeds, adhesive and more intricate design work.
The Advanced course costs £450.00 + VAT and includes:
• 3 days training including lunch for each day
• Certificate
